Highlights:At Shillington, Donovon Jack and Marquis Marshall combined for 44 points as the District 3 champion Saints (28-2) beat PET Charter (16-11) in the opening round of the PIAA Class AAA Tournament.
The Saints led by 17 at the half and by as many as 23 points midway through the final quarter.
The Chargers used a 10-point run in the final minutes to close within 11, but the Saints pulled back ahead with seven free throws in the final minute. BC was 19-of-22 from the foul line.
Berks Catholic advances to play District 2-AAA champ Abington Heights, a 62-54 winner over Northern Lehigh.
