Highlights:At Mechanicsburg, Natalie Zelenky scored a goal in the first minute and No. 15 Mechanicsburg never looked back in a 9-1 victory over No. 18 Exeter in a District 3-AAA preliminary round game Saturday.
The Wildcats (13-6-1) scored four goals in the first ten minutes to break the game open. Three of those goals were from Zelenky, who had five in the game.
Abby Hughes scored the only goal for Exeter (10-9), which had just five shots in the game.
The Eagles’ 10 wins this season were more than they had in the previous two spring seasons combined (7).
