Highlights:At New Schaefferstown, Brinn McClennan had a goal and two assists as the Spartans (13-7-3) clinched a PIAA playoff berth with a 3-1 victory over the Bullets (12-9-1) in the District 3-AA third-place game.
Elke Caccihone and Elizabeth Tonneslan also had goals for the Spartans.
Stephanie Kotula stopped six shots in goal.
Nicole Winegardner had the only goal for Brandywine Heights, which played with 10 players for most of the second half.
Leslie Soffa had three saves for the Bullets.
Wyomissing will face Saucon Valley, the District 11 champions, in the first round of the state playoffs Tuesday.
