Highlights:
At Fort Washington, the Wildcats (14-2) swept the first five bouts to built a big lead but had to win the last two bouts to hold the Bears (13-8) in the District 1 Class 3A third-place match.
Both teams are heading for the PIAA Tournament and will wrestle in preliminary round matches on Monday. Boyertown will visit District 12 runner-up Archbishop Ryan at 7 p.m. Owen J. Roberts will host District 3 third-place finisher Cumberland Valley at 7 p.m.
Owen J. Roberts got off to a 23-0 lead over Boyertown before the Bears won five of the next seven bouts to close within 32-26 on a technical fall by Julien Maldonado at 113. But Owen J. Roberts defeated Boyertown for the second time this season as David Forrest scored a fall in the next-to-last bout and Jacob Dunleavy closed out the match with a decision.
