Highlights:
At Robesonia, Justin Rodriguez scored 10 of his game-high 22 points in the two overtimes and the Mustangs (3-2 Berks I, 8-5) survived after the Scouts (3-2 Berks II, 8-5) missed two late chances to tie it.
Free throws were a major difference. Mifflin went 20-for-24 for the game, including 8-for-11 after regulation, and Rodriguez made six of his eight foul shots in the overtimes. Weiser, meanwhile, went just 17-for-29 from the stripe, including a costly 6-for-12 in the fourth quarter.
Matt Moyer's layup with five seconds left in regulation tied it at 37-all and sent it to overtime.
Rodriquez's layup with 2.1 seconds left in the first OT tied it at 46-46, and Rodriguez hit one of his two free throws to put the Mustangs ahead 53-51 with 13.9 seconds left in the second OT.
Scott Bennick had a big game for the Scouts, scoring 14 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. But he missed a pair of free throws to tie it with 3.2 seconds left. Weiser then took over via the possession arrow after tying up the Mustangs on the ensuing inbound play, but the Scouts missed a 3 at the buzzer.
Matt Weiser had a team-high 17 points and also had 10 boards for Weiser.
