Highlights: At Robesonia, Trenity Burdine put the Red Knights (5-1 Berks I, 12-3) out in front with a strong first quarter, then helped them hold off the Scouts (3-3 Berks II, 8-6) at the end.

Burdine scored eight of his 17 points to put Reading up 16-8 in the first quarter. Weiser then almost caught the Knights in the fourth quarter, narrowing Reading's lead to 39-34 with 5:24 to go.

Burdine then scored seven more points in the final stretch as the team pulled away.

Yamil Echavarria had 11 for Reading and Xavier Mumford had 10.

Matt Weiser led the Scouts with 12 and Scott Bennick had 11.

Conrad Weiser has dropped five straight after an 8-1 start.
