Highlights: At Shillington, point guard and Reading High transfer Justin Rodriguez went 10-for-11 from the foul line and scored a game-high 25 points as the Mustangs (1-0 Berks I, 3-2) held on to beat the Blazers (1-1 Berks II, 4-2).

Kyle Yarmush's basket with four seconds left brought Boone to within one at 52-51. Javar Colon made one of his two foul shots for Mifflin, and the Mustangs then intercepted a court-length pass to end it.

Down 49-47 in the final minute, Mifflin went ahead on a Casey Hughes steal and three-point play. Rodriguez then drilled two free throws to make it 52-49 with 18 seconds left.

Zach Benjamin paced the Blazers with 14 points.

Hughes scored 12 for the Mustangs.
