Highlights: At Reiffton, Xavier Mumford scored six of his 12 points in the fourth quarter as the Red Knights (8-1, 15-3) drew away from a one-point lead after three quarters to down the Eagles (2-6, 7-9).

Ben Savidge scored nine of his 11 points in the first half as Exeter took a 20-19 lead.

But Reading, which led 33-32 after three, turned up the pressure defense to escape. Marcus Dawkins had five of his game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter and Delvon Brown went 5-of-6 from the foul line to highlight a 13-point effort.

Le'Quan Chapman scored a team-high 14 points for Exeter, which also got 10 points from Eric Thompson.
