Highlights:
At Shillington, Liz Hornberger scored all of her 10 points in the third quarter to help the Muhls (7-0 Berks II, 14-0) overcome an ice-cold start start and down the Mustangs (3-4 Berks I, 7-8).
The game was scoreless until Alexis Wright hit a field goal with 1:15 left in the first quarter. Amanda Mikatavage, who scored a team-high 12 points, hit a field goal with 55 seconds left in the quarter for the Muhls' first points.
Gov. Mifflin took a 5-2 lead with five seconds left in the quarter on a three-point play by Ashley Espinosa, who had a game-high 17 points.
Gov. Mifflin led 7-4 at halftime before Hornberger sparked the Muhls in the third quarter. Hornberger hit two 3-pointers and a pair of 2-pointers to help the Muhls take their first lead with 4:55 left in the third quarter.
Gov. Mifflin pulled within one point at 23-22 with 3:15 before the Muhls put the game away down the stretch from the foul line.
