Derek Gaul, who led Schuylkill Valley with nine points, had his potential game-tying 3-point shot go in and out at the buzzer.

Jared Palubinski scored 13 points and Sean King scored 10 for Hamburg.

Schuylkill Valley led by a point at halftime and after three quarters. But the Panthers went just 8-for-17 from the foul line compared with 10-for-14 for Hamburg.
