Highlights: At Leesport, Nate Miller scored 11 points before halftime to help the Panthers (5-2 Berks III, 8-7) open a big lead, then scored the rest of his game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter to help hold off the Mounts (0-7 Berks IV, 1-12).

With the win and Wyomissing’s loss to Central Catholic, Schuylkill Valley took over sole possession of first place in Berks III.

Schuylkill Valley led 29-11 at the break, but Antietam whittled its defict to nine early in the fourth quarter. Robert Fuller had 10 of his team-high 17 and Jake Prussman had eight of his 15 in the fourth for the Mounts, who eventually got to within seven on a Fuller bucket with 51 seconds to play.

But Josh Heffner and D.J. Shuttleworth went a combined 6-for-6 in the final minute to help the Panthers hold on.

Derek Gaul had 13 for Schuylkill Valley, and Billy Hartman had 10 for the Mounts.
