Highlights: At Wyomissing, Noel Abreu helped the Spartans (3-0, 7-0) open a big lead early and Ed Early helped them hold off the Lynx (2-2, 2-4) late as Wyomissing remained unbeaten.

Abreu had 10 of his 18 points in the first quarter, when the Spartans opened a 19-8 lead that stretched to 15 by the half.

But Oley Valley's defense helped it close to within four, 43-39, with 7:23 left before Early scored eight of his 14 points in the fourth quarter to help Wyomissing pull away.

Abreu also had 13 rebounds, and Jon Baker had 13 points and seven assists.

Nick Meier's 10 points led the Lynx.
