Highlights:
At Columbia, Jimmy Snyder stole the ball and scored a layup at the buzzer, sealing the win for the Cardinals in their opener. Central held a seven-point lead with about a minute left before the Crimson Tide rallied and cut it to 43-42. Columbia had a chance to win, but Snyder made the game-changing play. Zach Fenstermacher had 14 points for the Cards. Jarrett Swished led the Tide with 12.
