Highlights: At Mahanoy City, Alex Swavely hit the go-ahead layup off an assist from Jimmy Snyder with 24 seconds left as the Cardinals (4-4) staged a furious late rally to down the Golden Bears (4-6).

Swavely matched a career high with 20 points and also had eight rebounds for Central, which trailed 59-50 with 4:30 left.

Snyder had three steals and three assists in the late run, finishing the game with six points, seven steals and five assists.

Zach Fenstermacher scored 17 points for the Cards.

Scott Dertner scored a game-high 28 points for the Bears, including eight 3-pointers.
