The Battlin' Miners led 17-13 at the half, but outscored the Cardinals 18-6 in the third quarter to take control.

Shana Sborz scored six of her game-high 15 points in the third for Minersville. Jen Cory scored 10 of her 14 points in the second half.

Freshman Maria Wendt led Central with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
