Highlights: Consolation game: Sophomore Rebecca Reinhart scored a game- and career-high 16 points to lead the Cardinals (1-1) past the Winged Lions (0-2).

Freshman center Maria Wendt had nine points and 11 rebounds for Central, which shut out St. Pius X in the second quarter to grab a 19-5 halftime lead.

Also for the Cards, Marie Rossignoli scored 12.
