Highlights: At Hempfield, the No. 20 Mustangs (11-12) scored just six points in the fourth quarter and were outscored 10-0 down the stretch in a District 3-AAAA prelim loss to the No. 13 Black Knights (15-8).

Gov. Mifflin led 40-39 midway through the fourth before Hempfield scored the final ten points of what proved to be a turnover-filled final period for the Mustangs.

Mifflin freshman Ashley Espinosa, who entered Friday averaging 17.5 points per game, was held scoreless in the fourth period after accumulating a team-high 13 points through the first three.

Shawn Barczynski finished with 10 points for the Mustangs.
