Highlights: At Birdsboro, Holly Dinella scored nine of her game-high 14 points in the third quarter as the Blazers broke open a close game by outscoring the Scouts 14-2 in the period to win the District 3-AAA preliminary game.

The win moves 10th-seeded Boone (17-8) into a preliminary round game against No. 7 seed Shippensburg at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Carlisle.
