Highlights: At Penn Manor, Matt Schatzmann scored 18 of his 27 points, including 9-of-10 from the free-throw line, in the first half as the sixth-seeded Braves (14-9) beat the 11th-seeded Trojans (11-11) in a District 3-AA first round game.

Tulpehocken trailed by six at the half, but could only muster one field goal and six points in the third quarter.

Pequea Valley broke the game open late in the third quarter when Zach Neff and Matt Schatzmann hit back-to-back 3-pointers to put the Braves up for good at 32-24.

Clifton Richardson led the Trojans with 13 points.
