Highlights: At Carlisle, Mandy Baer converted two critical free throws with nine seconds left and the 10th-seeded Blazers (18-8) survived a late 3-point try to beat the seventh-seeded Greyhounds (16-7) in a 3-AAA first-round game.

Shippensburg's Emily Breneman had a chance to tie the game, but her 3-pointer missed with two seconds left and Boone grabbed the rebound to seal the win.

The Blazers advance to face Berks II foe Muhlenberg in a quarterfinal Saturday at Milton Hershey at 3 p.m. Muhlenberg beat Boone twice during the regular season.

Erin Hughes scored 13 points and Holly Dinnella had 10 for Boone, which trailed by one at halftime before outscoring the Greyhounds 11-6 in the third quarter.

Jordyn Beam had a game-high 14 points for Shippensburg.
