Highlights: At Geigle Complex, the Red Knights (2-0, 6-1) jumped out to an 18-4 lead and kept pouring it on as they routed the Eagles (0-2, 0-7) by 50.

Reading High used a zone defense to force 17 first-half turnovers. David Lawson scored 15 of his 17 points in the first half, and Jermaine Jackson scored nine before the break.

The game went to a running clock with 4:48 go to in the third quarter when Reading High took a 56-16 lead. Jackson scored nine more in the third. The Red Knights played their junior varsity squad in the fourth.

Jackson finished with a game-high 18 points and 11 rebounds. Justin Rodriguez had nine assists to go along with his 12 points. Eric Thompson scored 11 to lead Exeter.
