Highlights: At Alvernia, the Cardinals (5-1 Berks IV, 13-3) turned up the defense after halftime to break open what had been a close game, holding the Trojans (1-5 Berks III, 5-11) without a bucket in the decisive third quarter.

Up just 15-13 at the break, Central allowed just two free throws in the third and outscored Tulpehocken 11-2 to take a 26-15 lead into the fourth. Sarah Kriebel scored four of her team-high 10 points in the third quarter.
