Highlights:
At Geigle Complex, the Red Knights (5-0 Berks I, 14-2) overcame a sleepy start to eventually breeze past the Blazers (2-4 Berks II, 6-9).
Reading High was sluggish early despite its 25-12 halftime lead, but picked up its defense and energy after the break and outscored Boone 26-9 in the third quarter.
David Lawson scored nine of his game-high 14 points in the third, when Jermaine Jackson had eight of his 10.
Justin Rodriguez had six points, five steals and four assists and Lawson had six steals for the Red Knights, who held top Blazers scorer Jeff Sowers (14.1 ppg) to a single point.
