Highlights: At Mertztown, Cornell Yarde scored a career- and game-high 21 points, including six in the decisive fourth quarter, as the Panthers (4-0, 6-4) remained tied for first in Berks III by beating the Bullets (1-3, 3-5).

Brandywine pulled within two points early in the fourth quarter before Schuylkill Valley pulled away.

The Panthers led just 43-37 after three quarters before breaking it open in the final quarter by hitting 7-of-8 free throws.

Jahron Mathies went 4-for-4 from the line in the final quarter for the Panthers; he finished with 11 points. Derek Gaul scored 12 for Schuylkill Valley.

Zach Sitler scored a team-high 14 for Brandywine.
