Highlights: At Hometown, the Cardinals (1-2) clawed their way back from an 11-point second-half hole, but poor foul shooting late in the game hurt them in their second loss to the Fillies (2-1) in six days.

Marie Rossignoli scored 12 of her career-high 17 points in the first half, staking Central to a 19-17 lead at the break. But Marian held Central scoreless through much of the third quarter and went on a 13-0 run spanning the final two quarters to open a big lead. Within four late, however, the Cardinals went just 1-for-6 from the foul line in the fourth quarter.

Danielle Tristani's 15 points led Marian.
