Highlights: At Reiffton, Nick Slamon made a pair of free throws with 9.2 seconds left as the Eagles (1-1, 4-1) came back from an early 10-point deficit, then outlasted the Red Knights (1-1, 4-1).

It is Exeter's first win over Reading since 2006, and just its second in 21 years.

Trenity Burdine had given Reading a 58-57 lead with a basket with 19 seconds left.

The Eagles won it at the free throw line, hitting 17-of-18. Slamon and Eric Sarra were each 6-for-6.

Reading, meanwhile, was good on just 11-of-26 free throws.

Tyler Blood's layup gave Exeter a 57-56 lead with 30 seconds to go.

Sarra led Exeter with 16 points; Benjamin Savidge had 15 and Slamon 12.

Burdine finished with a game-high 18, seven in the first quarter, as Reading took an 18-8 lead.

Savidge and Slamon each scored six points in the second quarter, and the Eagles hit 11-of-12 free throws to tie it 26-26 at the half.
