Highlights: At Shillington, the Red Knights (3-1, 9-2) used their fullcourt pressure and quickness on the boards to hold off the Mustangs (0-3, 3-7).

Trenity Burdine scored 13 of his 19 points in the third quarter as Reading built a 22-point lead.

The Mustangs battled back in the fourth, as Javar Colon scored six of his team-high 14 points and Mifflin got within 12.

The win was the fifth straight for Reading; Mifflin has lost seven straight.

Delvon Brown scored a career-high 19 for Reading; Yamil Echavarria had 14.

Brown knocked down a pair of 3-pointers in the second quarter as the Red Knights broke from a 10-10 tie after one period to lead 29-18 at the half.
