Highlights: At Hamburg, David McCoy hit the winning 3-pointer at the buzzer as the Spartans (9-5, 14-8) outlasted the Hawks (2-12, 4-19) in three overtimes.

Wyomissing needs a win over division champ Oley Valley Thursday to clinch the second playoff spot.

The Spartans trailed by nine points after the first quarter, but whittled the deficit to two after three. Devin Overley led the comeback in the fourth by hitting two 3-pointers to tie it 37-37 at the end of regulation.

After each team scored two points apiece in the first overtime, Hamburg's Marvin Cottrell drained a 3 in the second extra period and then made a foul shot with 4.7 seconds left to tie it 46-46 and send the game into another overtime.

After Wyomissing hit an early bucket in the final period, Hamburg tied it 49-49, setting up McCoy's winning 3.

Cottrell scored a game-high 21. Ed Early led the Spartans with 18 points and Overley finished with 10.
