Highlights: At Oley, Denise Thomas scored six of her eight points in the final quarter as the Hawks (3-0, 9-3) held off the Lynx (1-2, 4-7).

Hamburg led 10-4 after a period and 16-4 early in the second period.

The Lynx pulled within a point early in the fourth quarter but could not take the lead.

Ally Wenrich scored a game-high 18 points for the Hawks. She needs 56 points to reach 1,000.

Chelsea Gieringer scored a team-high 11 points for the Lynx.

Oley played without starting center Brittany Holick, who was on a college recruiting visit.
