Highlights: At Geigle Complex, Taeshan Huffman and Yamil Echavarria helped the Red Knights (10-2) get off to a fast start and Trenity Burdine scored 21 points in a win over the Red Tornado (4-6).

Huffman, who finished with 17 points, and Echavarria, who had 16, each scored six points in the first quarter as Reading raced to a 26-13 lead. Kahlil Velasquez also had six points in the first.

The Knights stretched their 10-point halftime lead to 65-48 as Burdine scored nine third-quarter points.

Reading maintained its cushion in the fourth quarter by hitting 9-of-11 free throws; it made 15-of-19 overall.

The win was the sixth straight for Reading, which faces Berks I rival Wilson Tuesday night.

The 86 points is a season-high for Reading.

Leontae Turner scored 21 points to lead McCaskey.
