Highlights: At West Lawn, the Red Tornado turned to a press in the fourth quarter to rally past the Bulldogs in the opener for both teams. Wilson led 32-24 in the third quarter before McCaskey staged a comeback. Wilson led 32-27 after three quarters before being outscored 20-11 in the fourth.

Liz Elliott scored 10 points to lead a balanced Wilson offense and Olivia Yoh made 6-of-6 free throws to finish with eight points. For McCaskey, Porsha Hunter scored 14 points and T'onna Johnson scored 13.
