Highlights: At Birdsboro, Kevin Riccio and Brett Simmons hit key free throws and Justin Sowers scored a career-high 20 points as the Blazers beat Ephrata in the opening round of the Blazer/J.D.Sport Tip-Off Tournament.

The Blazers face West Chester East, a 54-46 winner over Pottstown, in tonight's championship game.

Riccio scored a career-high 19 points for Boone and went 4-for-4 from the free throw line in overtime.

Simmons hit a free throw late in regulation to send the game to OT.

Tyler Broooks scored 18 for the Blazers.
