Highlights: At Hummelstown, Central sophomore Mia Wendt scored 19 points and held Millersburg center and leading scorer Megan Boyer without a field goal to lead the Cardinals (12-12) past the Indians (14-9) and into the District 3 Class A quarterfinals. Central, the No. 9 seed, will play top seed Steel-High Saturday at Northern York (1:30 p.m.). Wendt made 9-of-11 shots from the floor and limited Boyer, who averaged 16 a game, to three foul shots. Becca Reinhart, who recently returned to the lineup from an injured shoulder went 4-for-4 from the field for eight points for the Cardinals.
