Highlights: At Boyertown, Kelly Furman scored 12 of her game-high 16 points in the first half as the Bears (21-6) quickly pulled away from the Cardinals in a District 1-AAAA playback game.

Boyertown needs two more wins to qualify for the PIAA tournament. The Bears host Spring-Ford Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Furman also shut down Upper Dublin's leading scorer, Holy Cross-bound Kristen Fuery, who had just a pair of foul shots for two points.

Boyertown's pressure defense forced 31 turnovers and limited the Cardinals to two points in each the first and fourth quarters.

The Bears also excelled beyond the arc, making 7-of-10 3-pointers.
