Highlights: Sam Marrella stole the ball and hit a lay-up to put the Bulldogs (24-4) up by a point with just over a minute left, as the Bulldogs held on to defeat the Bearcats (23-6) 59-57 to finish third place in the District 3-AAAA tournament.

“I’m proud of the kids,” said head coach Matt Coldren. “They battled against a team that was more athletic than us. Even the kids who came off the bench battled hard for us. It was a great win for the program and a great team effort.”

Wilson will open up play in the PIAA tournament on Saturday, March 13 against the fifth-placed team from District 1.
