Highlights: At Lebanon, Sam Baro scored five points and Aly York seven in the first quarter as the Blazers (18-10) took control early and held the Barons to 27 points in the District 3 Class AAA fifth-place game.

"We played extremely well tonight," said Daniel Boone coach Chad Walters. "We had a great first half."

Daniel Boone led 16-5 after a quarter and 26-11 at halftime.

Baro finished with a game-high 15, continuing to have the hot hand in districts for the Blazers with 57 points.

Erin Hughes had 13 and York 12 for Boone, which may get defending state champion Archbishop Carroll in the opening round of states. The Blazers will play the winner of tonight's District 12 title game between Carroll and Prep Charter.

Carly Leitzel led the Barons (17-11) with 12 points.
