Highlights: HERSHEY -- Trenity Burdine scored 20 of his game-high 25 points in the second half to help the District 3-AAAA champion Red Knights (28-2) pull away from the District 2-AAAA runner-up Cougars (20-6) in a PIAA Tournament opener.

Burdine sat most of the second quarter after picking up two fouls, but returned to hit 6-of-8 shots in the second half, including three 3-pointers to help Reading earn its first state tournament victory since 2004.
