Highlights: At Laureldale, the Muhls (4-4 Berks II, 11-8) fought back from a 17-point halftime deficit to tie it in the third quarter, but the Red Knights (8-0 Berks I, 17-3) pulled away down the stretch.

Reading's David Lawson scored 21 first-half points, including 16 in the second quarter when he hit four 3-pointers to push the Knights' lead to 48-31.

Lawson, Berks leading scorer, finished with a game-high 29 points.

Kevin Botch, who scored a career-high 14, helped the Muhls rally in the third quarter. They tied it 56-56 on Nick Heck's pullup jumper with a minute to go.

The Knights took the lead for good when Lawson answered with a 3, and went ahead 62-56 on Nelson Leon's 3-pointer at the buzzer.

The Knights pulled away down the stretch, hitting 9-of-11 free throws.

Leon finished with 17.

Derek Zeller scored 14 for Muhlenberg.

The Muhls played most of the game without Vaughn Carraway, who was injured early in the game when he fell awkwardly and suffered a facial laceration after going up to block a shot.
