Highlights: At Holy Name, the Spartans (1-0, 3-2) held the Blue Jays (0-1, 2-3) to one point in the second quarter to win a defensive struggle. Duval Singleton and Joe Cacchione scored eight points each to lead Wyomissing. Freddy Caruso scored a game-high 10 points for Holy Name. Wyomissing led 13-11 at halftime and built a nine-point lead in the third quarter. Holy Name battled back to tie it in the fourth quarter before Wyomissing finished the game on a 7-2 run.
