Highlights: At Lancaster, McCaskey scored the last 11 points of the second quarter to take a 34-25 halftime and control in its District 3-AAAA preliminary-round victory over Muhlenberg.

Diante Cherry scored 17 points and Brian Newsome had 16 for the 15th-seeded Red Tornado (16-10). Avery Price led the 18th-seeded Muhls (15-9) with 13 points.

McCaskey next plays Berks Conference champ Reading High Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Geigle.

Muhlenberg rallied from a 10-0 deficit to take a 25-23 lead in the second quarter before McCaskey went on its run.
