Highlights: At West Lawn, the second-seeded Cardinals blew almost all of a 17-point lead before escaping with a District 3-A quarterfinal victory over the seventh-seeded Mighty Ants.

Joey Rys hit both ends of a double bonus with 26 seconds left and Marquis Marshall hit the first of two as the Cards extended their lead and avoided elimination.

Marcus Dawkins scored a game-high 15 points for Central before fouling out with 3:47 left.
