At Geigertown, Christie Kline had a career-high 12 points, the last coming on a game-sealing free throw with four seconds left, and the Eagles (3-0, 6-9) held on to beat the Lions (2-1, 5-9).

Laura Peterson had 10 points and 13 rebounds for High Point, which was ahead by 10 in the fourth until Faith Christian rallied, drawing within three at 39-36 on Becca Hixson's late 3-pointer.

Lauren Fretz led the Eagles with 13 points.
