Highlights: Reading Holiday Tournament

At the Geigle, the Red Knights (8-0) held off a late charge by the Shamrocks (4-3) to win their own tournament for the second straight year. Tournament MVP Isis Thorpe scored 23 points, including an 8-for-8 effort from the foul line, to lead Reading High. Tyeca Reviere scored nine of her 13 points in the fourth quarter to help the Red Knights hold on and gain a spot on the all-tournament team. Reading led by 10 points in the fourth quarter before turning the ball over on three straight possessions. Trinity pulled within two points and had the ball, but was called for an offensive charge in the final minute. That led to a technical foul that gave the Red Knights two free throws and possession, stopping the Shamrocks' run. Anna Kuntz scored 17 points to lead Trinity.
