Highlights: At Wyomissing, Veronica Lloyd poured in 19 points for Wyomissing, which held off Upper Dauphin in the closing moments to escape with a District 3 Class AA girls' victory.

The Spartans (9-14) advance to the quarterfinal round where they will travel to second-seeded Delone Catholic at 7 p.m. on Friday.

The Trojans (10-13) had a potential game-tying shot rattle out with two seconds remaining.

Lloyd, the Spartans' leading scorer, shined defensively as well recording four steals. Mariah Peppers added 12 points and three steals, while Katie Johnson rounded out the double-digit scoring for the Spartans with 10.

Upper Dauphin was led by Katie Schwenk's game-high 21 points and Kayleigh Ney's 11.
