Highlights:
At Leesport, Cornell Yarde had 21 points as the Panthers (19-7) held off the Raiders (12-11) in the final minute to win the District 3 Class AAA boys preliminary game.
Sam Nelson converted a 3-play with a little more than a minute remaining to pull Twin Valley within two points.
Schuylkill Valley's Malcom Mathies answered by hitting the front end of a pair of free throws. Mathies was 3-of-4 from the line in the final 1:17.
Meanwhile, Yarde netted 11 of his game-high total in the second quarter where the Panthers outscored the Raiders 19-10. Kyle Beissel also reached double figures for the Panthers, netting 13.
Peter Lipnicki led Twin Valley with 20 points followed by Kyle Wangler's 14.
