At Harrisburg, Jailyn Stern exploded for 27 points as the Red Knights (2-0) held off the resilient Cougars (1-1) to capture the tournament title.

Stern sealed the victory for Reading High in the fourth quarter by going 6-of-8 from the line.

Isis Thorpe added 22 points for the Red Knights, who led 41-27 at halftime before having to hold off Harrisburg late.

Briana Mack led the Cougars with 24 points.

Consolation: Imhotep Charter defeated Freire Charter.
