Highlights: At Plymouth Meeting, the Patriots (27-3) made 13-of-14 free throws in the final quarter to hold off the Bulldogs (20-8) in a PIAA Class AAAA Tournament opener.

Wilson pulled within one point three times in the final 2 1/2 minutes after trailing by seven early in the fourth quarter, but could never take the lead.

Mikal Bridges scored a game-high 16 points for Great Valley. SteVan Rodriguez led Wilson with 11.
