Highlights: At Forino Sports Complex, the Saints (3-0, 8-2) squandered an 18-point, third-quarter lead but recovered to defeat the Hawks (1-2, 6-5). Hamburg pulled even at 47 with one minute remaining. Brooke Wensel made back-to-back baskets to put Berks Catholic in front by four. Devon Merritt's free throw with eight seconds left made it 52-48 and allowed the Saints to withstand a last-second 3-pointer. Merritt finished with 24 points and 16 rebounds for Berks Catholic. Hannah Schoenly and Kassidy Lesher each had 12 for Hamburg.
