Highlights:
At West Lawn, senior guard Sam Smith hit some clutch 3-pointers and scored a career-high 20 points as Wilson defeated Reading High 64-49 in a Berks Conference Division I game.
The victory gives the Bulldogs (6-0, 14-1) a two-game cushion over the Red Knights (4-2, 9-6) for the division lead.
Travaun Coad also scored 20 points for Wilson, which can clinch the division title by winning two of its final four league games.
The Red Knights opened quickly, scoring the first six points, but the Bulldogs came right back, getting back-to-back 3-pointers from Smith and Jaylin Calloway and a breakaway slam by Coad during a 12-0 run that put them in command for good.
Wilson's lead reached 21 points early in the fourth quarter.
Smith made 7-of-11 shots overall and 3-of-5 from 3-point range. He also had six rebounds and two assists.
Kyle Watkins had nine points and four rebounds for the Bulldogs.
Meme Burdine led Reading with 16 points, and Lonnie Walker and Isael Abreu each had 10.
