Highlights: High Point 68, Lancaster County Day 45: At New Holland, Jason O'Connell scored 14 points to lead a balanced attack as the fifth-seeded Eagles (18-6) defeated the 12th-seeded Cougars (13-11) for the first District 3 win in school history.

High Point, which will play No. 4 seed Scotland Friday at 6 p.m. at Hershey, trailed 13-10 after one quarter before grabbing a 28-26 halftime lead.

The Eagles, who got 13 points and eight assists from Jon Conover and 13 points from Dathan Marshall, broke it open with an 18-5 advantage in the third quarter.

Alex Swanson scored a game-high 23 points and Sean Mendez-Catlin of Birdsboro scored 15 points for Country Day.
